TWO SIGNS GET REFURBISHED THANKS TO JOHANNES PRONK

THE DELORO HISTORICAL PLAQUE GETS A FACELIFT!

Thanks to Johannes Pronk of Queensborough, the Deloro historical plaque has been refurbished and replaced…..and it looks great! Shining in a navy blue, it once again tells the Deloro story in dazzling aluminum letters, outside the Deloro Community Hall.

Mr. Pronk, of Pronk Canada Inc., works out of his fully equipped machine shop in the Village of Queensborough, designing and creating unique metal items, signs and parts.

PEARCE MILL SIGN REFURBISHED AFTER 31 YEARS

Thanks to the artistry of Jos Pronk of Queensborough, Ontario, our Mill Street historical sign, originally carved out by Clarence Logan of Havelock, has been beautifully restored, reinforced and preserved. Quoting the artist: “Quite a journey to make the missing pieces, and match the colors, replacing and making the worn and rotten parts of this sign, struggling with an ant nest during this conquest. then finding a way to preserve it better for the future.” THANK YOU, JOS!
