THE VILLAGE PULSE    A look at the Goings-On

We're not sure when our area started to have a heartbeat,  but we do know that since the first rhythms of Charles Hayes' grinding water wheels and pumping bellows in 1822,  the inhabitants sought to better their lives with  business,  comraderie and entertainment.  We hope here to showcase that "action in town"  and make a spot for incoming information  that our readers are willing to share.
