Pat McCrodan adds:  I worked there 1952 I think,Bev Mckewan and Rusty Wellman were in the adjoining room. Frankier was cooking. Almost killed myself learning how to inhale with free American cigarettes.

AND WHERE IS THE LODGE NOW?

“Watson says he originally planned to replace just the roof but ended up tearing the whole building down to the subfloor. The once stunning post and beam structure, with curved plywood ceilings made to look like ships’ cabins, was almost beyond salvation.” it is no longer a lodge, but is now four distinct units, each with its own kitchen, living area and bedrooms.
